Where are Hemet and San Jacinto located?  Hemet and San Jacinto are the two largest of a handful of cities that are located in an area known as San Jacinto Valley.  The valley sits in the center of Riverside county, in southern California’s Inland Empire.  San Jacinto Valley is adjacent to the San Bernardino National Forest which separates it from the desert communities in the Palm Springs area to the East.  A short climb up from the valley is the charming mountain-community of Idyllwild.  Temecula’s wine country is to the south and Oak Glen’s apple orchard’s are to the north.  The grand city of Riverside is a short drive to the west.
